June 14, '09 Stephanie entertained at the afternoon of readings from James Joyce's ULYSSES as part of the Gaelic Adventure Players' celebration of Bloomsday, Glendale, California. Jan 30&31, Feb 1, '09 Stephanie performed as part of the evening of Irish Theater with the Gaelic Adventure Players, Glendale, California. October 31, '08 Stephanie was one of several entertainers at the Samhain (Celtic New Year) celebration and fundraiser of the Celtic Arts Center of Southern California. Samhain (rhymes with "plowin'") is the Celtic New Year, when the veils between worlds are thin. Saturday, Sept. 6, '08 Acton, California Stephanie was the featured entertainer at the Gala Fundraiser of Animal Acres. Where do celebrities gather with cows, pigs, and chickens? The Animal Acres Gala of course! An enchanted evening filled with gourmet vegan delights, inspiring entertainment, and special appearances by Hollywood's famous friends of farmed animals. Compassion awards, Auction for Animals, and more. July '08 Ann Arbor, Michigan Solo Stephanie Bennett concert at Kerrytown Concert House, An eclectic program including many of her original compositions, a visit to ancient Ireland, and some beloved classical and jazz favorites in surprising adaptations for solo harp. concert program Nov. 22, 2007 Stephanie had been planning to entertain at the Thanksgiving fundraiser of the Gentle Barn Sanctuary (Santa Clarita, California) but it unfortunately had to be cancelled due to damage from the devastating wildfires. Do consider helping them recover by making a donation!
